Lovely spacious house , we had a great week here. We loved the surprise on opening the fridge a really nice and unexpected touch.Couple of issues only one set of keys we were advised that there were more but none found. The vine around the hot tub needs trimming back as it also impedes the tight parking at the front of the house, it’s over the wall and into the parking area. Very well equipped house although we found it a squash to all sit and watch TV in the front room. The lovely massive room we didn’t really use as it was just tooo big and no TV in there. The house could benefit from a deep clean before the summer season starts as there are a lot of cobwebs . The cleaners (Gerald and daughter )do an excellent job in the time as it’s such a big house and were very helpful coming back to assist with recycling our rubbish. Would definitely recommend

We had a lovely stay at Bell house. It was very spacious with 3 sitting rooms and a very large kitchen. The bedrooms were very good with lots of cupboard space and comfortable, clean beds. There were plenty of towels which were also very clean and had a freshly laundered smell. The kitchen was extremely well equipped, lots of gadgets and plenty of cutlery and crockery. The hot tub was clean and ready to go and was a big hit with adults and children. The two negatives that I can think of is that the main bathroom doesn't have a shower fitting. And the 'garden room' has a leaking roof when it rains. We would come back if ever we needed a place for that many people again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Bell House, but we did have issues with the parking, rubbish collection and how clean the house was when we arrived. The good things first: the house is enormous and meant our group of teenagers, parents and grandparents had plenty of space to spread out and do our own thing. The teenagers loved the hot tub, and the garden is huge and beautiful with plenty of garden furniture. We did a fair bit of cooking and found all the equipment we needed in the well-stocked kitchen. There is also a seperate dining room with a big table which meant we could all sit and eat together. The house is very dog friendly, with bowls and beds provided for owners to use, plus a stair gate at the top of the stairs. The beds were all very comfortable, with plenty of big fluffy towels for us to use. There are a few things however that could be improved. The house was not particularly clean. There were a fair few cobwebs and the bathrooms weren't great. The whole house felt like it could benefit from a deep clean. When we arrived both bins outside were full. There is only one set of bins for both Bell House and the Stables to share, which really isn't enough for the number of guests using both properties, especially when the recycling is only collected every 2 weeks. Parking is very tight, as both Bell House and the Stables have to share the parking space at the front. The road outside both properties is very narrow, so there is not the option to park on the road and getting in and out of the narrow parking area can be a challenge, particularly if you have a big car. We were lucky that the guest staying at the Stables only had one car and was only staying for the first weekend of our stay. If there had been two cars there for the whole week, it would have been quite tricky. For us, the positives outweighed the negatives. But Bell House could be improved via more thorough cleaning, additional outside bins and a rethink of the parking situation. I should also add that there are only two showers (bathroom no.3 only had a bath), and one of them is extremely narrow.
