For the price paid this is a lovely lodge, a peaceful setting with smallish lakes but nice size grassy area around the lodge. Upstairs the balcony with bench and chairs got the sun all morning, as did the downstairs where the covered seating area was great, near to the hot tub which was a good size. The gas barbecue was excellent, easy to use with gas bottle provided. The Kitchen was well equipped for self catering, cooker, hob, microwave easy to use, large table and sufficient chairs for eating around. The hand soap provided at every sink and toilet was a nice touch. The three bedrooms all on suite were fine, two had double beds and the third was made as a double as we requested (could instead be two singles if wanted). The two lounges were both nice, one upstairs one down. Some of the board games weren’t complete or had no rules so couldn’t use, but didn’t detract from how lovely the lodge was to stay in. Swimming pool across the way was nice though the cost meant we only went there once. We found the location ideally placed to get out and about, seaside places, Norfolk Broads, or Norwich, whatever we fancied. Within easy drive of supermarkets, and the garden centre down the road was nice.
