About Lighthouse View

Lighthouse View is a massive three-storey Victorian house in Gorleston, Norfolk, just minutes from a stunning Blue Flag beach. This spacious period property sleeps 11 across 5 bedrooms and offers incredible harbour and sea views from the master suite. Perfect for large family gatherings where nobody feels cramped - this accommodation is seriously bigger inside than it looks!

Located in a quiet residential area (so no 3am hot tub parties, folks!), you're literally a few minutes' walk from Gorleston's massive sandy beach. The garden features a fantastic hot tub that previous guests have used daily - perfect for relaxing with a glass of prosecco after a day of seaside fun. There's even covered outdoor seating for those typical British "is it raining or isn't it?" summer days.

Accommodation includes a beautiful lounge with open fire and piano, a family room, twin bedroom and that stunning master suite with sea views. The beds are so comfortable "none of us wanted to get out of them" according to reviews. The house comes fully equipped - from kitchen gadgets to kids' toys, buckets and spades and even supplies for dogs. There are even adult and kids' bikes provided!

Nearby attractions include Great Yarmouth (10 minute drive), Horsey Beach to see seals (25 minutes) and boat hire on the Norfolk Broads (25 minutes). The local shops, restaurants and late-night convenience store are just around the corner.

A spacious, comfortable family house with plenty of space for our group of 6 adults and 4 children. The garden was a highlight with BBQ, hottub and dartboard. The house was very well equipped and the owner was friendly and concerned to ensure everything was OK. Lovely beach area very close by. The only downside is outside of the owner's control and is parking. Our cars were too big to fit more than 1 in the private parking 2 smaller cars would fit and it was sometimes awkward finding a space in the free onstreet road parking. Otherwise absolutely excellent .

Throughly enjoyed our stay fabulous old house with many features. HOT tub was a bonus. Our only issue was with parking as we had 3 cars 2 parked round the back but on arrival their was a large van parked out side the house on the Friday afternoon so made unloading our cars very difficult tge van didn't move till Monday and was then replaced by another van. Also road works which made parking for our 3rd car a problem. But this issue is nothing to do with the house or Helen. We all enjoyed our stay including the dogs.
We have just returned from a lovely week away, the lead up to the holiday the owner was informing us of various things that we might need to know whilst during our stay which was extremely helpful. The location of the house is just perfect, few minutes walk to the beach front and the shops there. Theres a shop thats open til late just round the corner for anything that you may have forgotten. The outdoor seating under cover was great, which meant we could still barbecue and eat outdoors regardless of the weather. We used the hot tub most nights it was such a lovely add on. The kitchen has everything you could need, the freezer space is limited but we made do. The bedrooms on the front of the house could do with black out curtains as the sun would come shining through first thing. There was 10 of us all together and never felt cramped at any point during the week, plenty of bathrooms for all of us. The bedroom and bathroom doors have frosted glass panels in so could see through. The bathroom door especially could do with the glass being covered up. Great Yarmouth is a ten minute drive away. We went to see the seals at Horsey beach which is a 25 minute drive away. We hired a boat for the day on broads again which is 25 minute drive away. The kids room with all the books and toys was a great touch, we didnt need to bring all the toys to keep the kids entertained. Would highly recommend this house.
What more can I say than FANTASTIC! ! We thoroughly enjoyed out stay Throughout our stay we made use of the garden and got tub daily which was lovely and a great addition to the holiday. The house itself was well presented and clean, comfortable beds that none of us wanted to get out of, ideal location and had everything you could need during your stay! Helen the owner was lovely and checked in with us via email through our stay, and ensured that everything was OK for us! Location was ideal and the views from the bedrooms was lovely! It was lovely to also see the boats coming in and out of the harbour! I would definitely recommend staying here & we are already looking at booking again! 5 all throughout! Can't wait for our next stay
Fantastic house lots of room, great location,hot tub was used on many occasions,kitchen well equipped,sat out in the lovely garden with a cup of coffee every morning. Beds are so comfortable,all had a great time.

The owners have thought of everything. We ended up over packing as we didn't expect there to be soo much supplied, from a cupboard full of toys and buckets and spades to cutlerycrockery for the kids and even a box of supplies for the dogs. There was more than enough room for 8 adults 4 kids and 2 dogs
Lovely roomy house close to the vast sandy beach at Gorleston. Could do with a tumble dryer for towels but other than that, excellent.
Beautifully decorated comfortable house, much bigger than it looks from the outside, lovingly restored Victorian features with modern day facilities, helpful owner and of course the excellent hot tub! I would definitely go back.

I dont know where to start, this property was exceptional! It is in a fantastic location with great sea views and a very short walk to the front and amenities. The house is very spacious in both living and sleeping facilities. It is decorated and furnished to a high standard. Free fast Wifi and cable tv are provided and the kitchen is well fitted with appliances and equipment. Plenty of off road parking for 2 cars, even my large estate car had no problems. The garden has plenty of space for children to play and the hot tub was terrific. There are bikes for both adults and a child provided along with buckets, spades and other childrens toys. You really only need to take your clothes as everything else was provided. We had a fantastic week, 6 adults and a 3 year old child stair gates and a low level bed provided and would not hesitate to recommend it to any one!
