The house was great for our family getaway. Huge open social spaces with adequate seating and entertainment for everyone. The dog enjoyed her daily circuit around the village exploring the countryside when she wasn’t playing in the large enclosed grass garden, and the kids were happy to walk the short 5 minute walk to the riverside with their rods in hand to catch the big fish. The bedrooms were very clean and mattresses comfortable.There was plenty of kitchen space to cater for the large family, however for the avid chefs and bakers I would recommend taking your own utensils and baking equipment such as weighing scales and sharp knives.Overall the location was perfect and Charlotte was very friendly and welcoming. I would 100% recommend this property to family and friends.

We enjoyed a fab week in Myrtle Cottage. Incredible facilities, relaxing hot tub, gorgeous garden and every little touch you could think of. Charlotte was a welcoming host who could be easily reached and greeted us with a generous welcome basket. We had a great family holiday and would love to return again.

Our stay at Myrtle Cottage was truly wonderful. Everyone was giddy with excitement when we entered as the photos do not do it justice. It’s stunning! Spacious, well equipped and fun for all. Charlotte the host was fantastic meeting us on arrival to go over a few things and was responsive to anything we required. Location was great, it was quiet but nearby to a beautiful beach and town. We would definitely return!
