Kathryn
Throughly enjoyed our stay fabulous old house with many features. HOT tub was a bonus. Our only issue was with parking as we had 3 cars 2 parked round the back but on arrival their was a large van parked out side the house on the Friday afternoon so made unloading our cars very difficult tge van didn't move till Monday and was then replaced by another van. Also road works which made parking for our 3rd car a problem. But this issue is nothing to do with the house or Helen. We all enjoyed our stay including the dogs.
We have just returned from a lovely week away, the lead up to the holiday the owner was informing us of various things that we might need to know whilst during our stay which was extremely helpful. The location of the house is just perfect, few minutes walk to the beach front and the shops there. Theres a shop thats open til late just round the corner for anything that you may have forgotten. The outdoor seating under cover was great, which meant we could still barbecue and eat outdoors regardless of the weather. We used the hot tub most nights it was such a lovely add on. The kitchen has everything you could need, the freezer space is limited but we made do. The bedrooms on the front of the house could do with black out curtains as the sun would come shining through first thing. There was 10 of us all together and never felt cramped at any point during the week, plenty of bathrooms for all of us. The bedroom and bathroom doors have frosted glass panels in so could see through. The bathroom door especially could do with the glass being covered up. Great Yarmouth is a ten minute drive away. We went to see the seals at Horsey beach which is a 25 minute drive away. We hired a boat for the day on broads again which is 25 minute drive away. The kids room with all the books and toys was a great touch, we didnt need to bring all the toys to keep the kids entertained. Would highly recommend this house.
What more can I say than FANTASTIC! ! We thoroughly enjoyed out stay Throughout our stay we made use of the garden and got tub daily which was lovely and a great addition to the holiday. The house itself was well presented and clean, comfortable beds that none of us wanted to get out of, ideal location and had everything you could need during your stay! Helen the owner was lovely and checked in with us via email through our stay, and ensured that everything was OK for us! Location was ideal and the views from the bedrooms was lovely! It was lovely to also see the boats coming in and out of the harbour! I would definitely recommend staying here & we are already looking at booking again! 5 all throughout! Can't wait for our next stay
Fantastic house lots of room, great location, hot tub was used on many occasions, kitchen well equipped, sat out in the lovely garden with a cup of coffee every morning. Beds are so comfortable, all had a great time.
Absolutely brilliant House. Great location and views. Owner was so helpful and friendly, suggesting the best place to eat locally for my Dads birthday. Would definitely stay again
Gillian
This is a lovely house and very handy for the beach. We will be coming back. Goreleston is a small resort and the children love the beach.
Victoria
Lovely large house, excellent position so close to the beach. Gorleston is lovely. Property equally good for children dogs and adults we all had a great stay.
Found it very difficult to get in contact with Sykes when Inhad a query. Otherwise everything was fantastic. Would highly recommended this holiday let, beautiful house so well equipped was like a home, from home by the sea
Vanessa
The owners have thought of everything. We ended up over packing as we didn't expect there to be soo much supplied, from a cupboard full of toys and buckets and spades to cutlerycrockery for the kids and even a box of supplies for the dogs. There was more than enough room for 8 adults 4 kids and 2 dogs
Lovely roomy house close to the vast sandy beach at Gorleston. Could do with a tumble dryer for towels but other than that, excellent.
Beautifully decorated comfortable house, much bigger than it looks from the outside, lovingly restored Victorian features with modern day facilities, helpful owner and of course the excellent hot tub! I would definitely go back.
Sunita
Really lovely place with beautiful period features Also much much larger than even the pictures show. Could do with more glasses but such a minor detail when the rest was spot on. Overall fabulous and in a great location. We would Come back.
Stephen
I dont know where to start, this property was exceptional! It is in a fantastic location with great sea views and a very short walk to the front and amenities. The house is very spacious in both living and sleeping facilities. It is decorated and furnished to a high standard. Free fast Wifi and cable tv are provided and the kitchen is well fitted with appliances and equipment. Plenty of off road parking for 2 cars, even my large estate car had no problems. The garden has plenty of space for children to play and the hot tub was terrific. There are bikes for both adults and a child provided along with buckets, spades and other childrens toys. You really only need to take your clothes as everything else was provided. We had a fantastic week, 6 adults and a 3 year old child stair gates and a low level bed provided and would not hesitate to recommend it to any one!
