The Barn,

Donna and Ian looked after all our needs The barn was very well equipped and comfy. The bedrooms had very comfy beds we took are own towls for the hot tub but donna had left towls just fore the hot tub how nice was that

We arrived slightly early for our check in but Donna was there and allowed us in as everything was ready. On entering High House Barn we were amazed at the size of the whole place as, although the pictures are good, they didn't show the size of the whole building. It is immaculate and obvious that it is loved and cared for. Rooms;Main Lounge - The main lounge is huge with a vaulted beam ceiling. There are three large comfy sofas, a wood burner and a large TV.Second Lounge- A very good sized room that has an outlook onto the garden. Two large sofas and large TV. Good to have some quiet time.Kitchen/Utility - There was more than enough equipment in the kitchen/utility room if you wanted to prepare your own food (We prefer to eat out when on holiday)Dining room- Another large room with a table and chairs big enough for right people.Bedrooms- All bedrooms were well presented and of good size (all doubles and two ensuite)The main bedroom upstairs was in the vaulted roof and was lovely with an ensuite bathroom, separate toilet and massive bed. Main Bathroom- Well presented with a bath tub and separate large walk-in shower.Sun Room- A lovely little room just as you go out to the totally enclosed back garden with the hot tub in it. A perfect place to have a cuppa in the morningAll in all we had a lovely time at High House Barn. All our needs and more were provided for by our hosts Donna and Ian with nothing being too much trouble for them. We will definitely be returning.

We had a wonderful week in High House Barn. The setting is quiet and private. The barn is lovely... Very clean and spacious with ample room for 8 people. We had enough room to not get under each others feet..2 living rooms and a garden where the dogs could run around. Best of all was the hot tub... We used it every night and loved it. The host was lovely and met us when we arrived and kindly brought us some arrival goodies. She was easy to contact if needed and just left us to it! A car is essential if you want to get around .The whole experience was lovely and we didn't want to come home. Would highly recommend.
